Parks and sights in Antibes

Antibes has many parks and gardens where you can rest in your break during your internship or study in Antibes. A good example of such a park is Villa Eilenroc.

This park is built on a rock in the middle of a virtual desert. The area was transformed into a glorious garden through the patience and talent of Jacques Greber, landscape architect and consultant to the Great Exhibition in New York in 1939. He was able to grow a great variety of vegetation which gives the park a great look, perfect for a walk or to have a picnic.

Another park is Thuret Park, created In 1857 by Gustave Thuret he bought five hectares of land where he began the creation of this beatiful park.

Another park or actually a garden is the Exflora Park. A five hectare big garden open to the public. The garden has all kinds of mediteranean influences and is located next to a great number of olive gardens. For an international student such as yourself its a great way to relax and forget the stress of the day.

Antibes also has a great deal of beatiful sights as a student in Antibes you should really pay a visit to the 16th century Château Grimaldi. This castle has a great view over the mediteranean sea and gives a great impression of  the past of Antibes.
